While trying to open MIP from the pinned MIP icon on your taskbar, you receive this error:
“NpsAc32.exe- System Error: The code execution cannot proceed because edgegdi.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.”

Windows 10 released a version update 2004 that changes edgegdi.dll and is causing a conflict.

There are 3 possible ways around this error-
1. Use the MIP icon on your desktop instead of the pinned MIP icon on your taskbar.
2. If you already have a pinned MIP icon on your taskbar, right-click it and remove it. Next, go to your desktop, right-click the MIP icon, and choose Pin to Taskbar.

Note: Whenever you run the program, you will see two MIP icons on your taskbar instead of one. One is the shortcut to MIP and the other is the currently running MIP, this one will be underlined in blue.

3. Go to file explorer > C:\Program Files (x86)\MIP\Progs > scroll down, left click, then right-click NpsAc32 > Properties > Compatibility > Check the box under Compatibility mode to Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 8. Example below:
