Answer
Run the Notepad Line Listing report to screen to ensure there are results for the report, then select the Excel button at the bottom of the screen.
  1. Access this report using Reports > Constituent > Notepad Line Listing
  2. Click Setup
  3. Change Query & set desired criteria.
(The default query selects all constituents, but you can use a query based on information from any index card. Also, you may query for the specific note type desired.)
  1. Click OK
  2. Click Run > Export
  3. Click folder icon to open Select Export File, enter File name, and Save.
  4. Click OK > OK 
Additional Information
Use this report to produce a list of constituents with their information from the Note file. It includes the constituent name and address, phone numbers, note type, last updated date, and all notes for that constituent.
 
The default query of "ID is greater than zero" will return all constituents in the database who have a Note card in their record, as well as display all Note cards in each constituent's record. To narrow this report to a specific Note card, add criteria to the query based on the Note card itself.
  • Inclusion of a specific note type will return all constituents with that note type, as well as display all Note cards of that specific type.
  • Inclusion of a specific note type and a date or text in your query will refine the report to:  all constituents with that specific note type, entered on that specific date, with the specific text. It will only display the Note cards meeting all 3 criteria in a constituent's record.
  • When exported, the report exports one row per note card
