After Multi-Factor Authentication has been turned on for your organization you will not be able to access the system without authenticating. When your user was set up you should have received either an email or text with the link to register with. If you did not receive that email, if its expired or if you do not have a phone number to use it is still possible to register.

It is recommended that you contact customer support to have the link to activate your account resent as well as installing the Duo Mobile App on your device. This will allow you the greatest number of options and the best experience. If you wish to register without the link here are the instructions.
Registering a Phone Number Without the Link.
When you attempt to log in and have not set up your account for to factor authentication you will be taken to a Setup Wizard.

If you are registering a Mobile Phone or Smart Device, it is recommended that you install the Duo Mobile app from your mobile marketplace. If you wish to register a smart device that does not have a phone number associated with it, you will need to use the app.
Registering with a Phone Number
If you wish to register with a phone number choose either mobile phone or landline depending on the type.



Put in the phone number information.



You can verity the number via phone call or text. Enter the security code you receive.



Once that is done you can set your preferences and continue to log in.



NOTE: This will not register the phone number or device with the Duo Mobile App. If you wish to register the device with the Duo Mobile App see below
Registering a Device without a Phone Number
If the device, you are registering does not have a phone number or you do not wish to use the phone number you can still register and use the device. To do so you MUST install the Duo Mobile App. When installing the Duo Mobile App, it will ask for permission to access your camera. This is necessary to scan a QR code and access should be granted.

To register a device without a number you will again start at the new activation screen.



When asked for the type of device choose Tablet.



Choose the OS of the device you are adding.



If you have not installed the Duo Mobile App be sure to do so before continuing.



On the next screen you will see a QR code. Use the devices camera to scan the code. If the device does not have a camera you can click on the Email activation link instead.



On your device Launch the Duo App and click the plus sign at the top.



This will bring up your camera (and ask for permission if you have not given it already) and allow you to scan the QR code on the screen.
Once this is done the device will be registered.


The next screen will allow you to set your preferences and continue the login.



You will be asked to authenticate; it is recommended you use the Send Me a Push option.



Check your phone and you will see a notification asking for you approval to login.
