After renaming an Employee ID in Payroll a new and empty distribution code is created with no segments selected. Payroll will calculate -but when attempting to transfer Payroll to Accounting the user sees error messages indicating there are no earnings associated for the deduction codes, taxes, etc. to generate the distribution.
