Symptom:
Local users receive error(s) running ADE import tool locally

“Error 429 cannot create object” or the following additional error may occur if running the tool as administrator.

Cause:
  1. The user may not have “write” permissions to Windows\System 32 folder.
  2. The install tool may have not been installed locally on the workstation.
Resolution:
  1. A system administrator should Navigate out to the C:\Windows\System32 folder, right-click > Properties > add “write” privilege to the particular users.
  2. The MillenniumADEInstall.exe file should be moved to a public shared drive from the C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\mill\tools\ADE Install files folder on the IIS and copied to the desktop of the local machine.
  3. Double click to install MillenniumADEInstall.exe from the local desktop. If you try to install from the IIS or share location, the files will not be installed correctly on the workstation.
  4. After the tool has successfully installed, there should be a shortcut for Data Examiner Import on the desktop.  This tool should be run from the local user’s desktop.
