Answer

As part of the January 2020 release, we have updated the password complexity requirements to ensure continued protection of your data.

All iWeb and member passwords will expire after 90 days.  On the next login, Pro will alert the user or member that their password has expired and must be updated.  The new password must meet the following rules:

  • A minimum of 8 characters
  • A maximum of 32 characters
  • One upper case letter
  • One lower case letter
  • One number
  • One special character ($,!,#,@,&)
  • Cannot be one of your four previous passwords

For the January 2020 delivery to Production, we will populate the last login change date to February 7, 2020. This means passwords will not expire until May 5th.    If you do not want this field updated, please let us know immediately.  Staff may still manually expire passwords by populating the Expire Date on the customer record.

We believe that enforcing a 90-day limit for password expiration will resolve a reported issue where eWeb passwords were expiring unexpectedly and could not be updated by the member.

Please Remember: For iWeb users, if you have forgotten your password, the temporary password cannot be used to directly log in to Pro.  It can only be used to change your password.  Once you receive your temporary password via email, you must click on the Change Password link on the log in pageenter your temporary password and then enter your new password.
